Support the Chiefettes!

We've had lots of peer support the last few weeks! With 4th and 5th graders helping out in PK and Kinder, and 2nd graders peer modeling math strategies in 1st grade!

First grade has had a busy day! From learning about constellations and creating their own to investigating different types of soil with Topsoil, Clay, and Sand!

Bingo night!

Congratulations to our Student Spotlights this week! Thank you all for your PAX Leadership!
Murphy is consistently attentive in math class. She gets so excited with her work and if she had her way, she'd answer every question herself. We love how eager and confident she is in her math work and how she loves a challenge! Keep up the good work Murphy!
Adalynn is Pre-K's spotlight student this week. She is working hard on learning her letters and numbers. She can write her name. She’s a good friend to her classmates. She is an amazing PAX Leader!
Fox has come ALIVE! He has put together his reading skills, he's been rocking through math lessons, and he is so excited to see what he can accomplish. Mrs. Miranda and Mrs. Gowens are so proud to have a front row to his awesomeness!!!
Brianna has grown so much this year academically. She is on task most of the time, she asks questions when she needs help. Her math and reading skills are improving tremendously. She follows directions well and is a great Pax student.
Jake is a star student who shines brightly in our classroom. He is a fabulous thinker and likes to share his insights. He helps others well and is patient when peer tutoring. His handwriting is beautiful and so easy to read. He is patient with others when he know what is supposed to be done but must wait for others to get caught up. He is reading huge chapter books all the time.
Kamdyn is working so hard and showing so much growth this year academically. She is a fabulous PAX student who always shows fabulous citizenship. She works well with others and strives to do her best every single day.
Joshlynn is a fabulous PAX student this year. She follows directions, displays fabulous classroom citizenship and has shown fabulous growth is all subjects. She knows that to learn, you have to show up, so she has been at school every day this six weeks. She is a leader and helps out in the classroom often.
Kiyliah comes to class ready to work and is always respectful, quiet and follows the PAX rules at all times. Kiy has had a lot going on outside of school but has never let it keep her from showing up and doing her job. She wants to make sure she is giving her all at school! Keep up the great work Kiy!
Daniel is one smart cookie and an out of the box thinker. He loves new challenges and exploring the world around him. He is silly and quick on his feet. This little brave also has a big heart and compassion for others. Need a laugh, call Daniel. Go mighty Brave!

Congratulations to David Scott and Riley Dunn!
David placed 4th and Riley Placed 6th at the Fort Worth Stock Show.
This is a big accomplishment to be able to place at this show. This is by far the toughest show to compete at. We are very proud of these young men, they represented our school and FFA department very well.

We've got some amazing teachers at CES! So proud of Mrs. Pope and Mrs. Williams presenting at the service center today and representing Crosbyton!!

Don't forget! We'll be celebrating the 100th day of school on Friday at Elementary!
