Today, Mrs. Davis had the special opportunity to visit classrooms and read to our students about the heroes of September 11, 2001, while sharing age-appropriate facts about this important day in our nation’s history.
We talked about the incredible courage of firefighters, police officers, first responders, military members, and everyday citizens who stepped forward to help others. Most importantly, we talked about what their example can teach us today—that courage, kindness, service, and helping others matter. 🇺🇸
Our Braves may be young, but they are never too young to learn that they can be helpers and make a difference in the lives of others. 💜💛
Today we remember. We honor. And we choose kindness. ❤️🤍💙

We wanted to recognize our secondary students who received a positive referral from a teacher for “Setting the Chieftain Standard students can earn these referrals by displaying great behavior and having a growth mindset in the classroom. #SettingtheChieftainStandard

Our 2nd Grade Braves anchored their learning about the states of matter with a pretty SWEET experiment — ROOT BEER FLOATS! 🍨🥤
They were able to see their learning come to life:

We can’t wait to watch our Garden Club grow—both the garden AND our little gardeners! 🌱💜💛
