5th Graders are working on intro coding activities during Enrichment time with amazing coding lessons from code.org. Some are building video games, creating music remixes, and designing web pages with simple codes. They've started to recognize all the small details that go into the things they enjoy on a daily basis!

RJ just arrived, but he arrived with a bang! He is related to many of our students and MindPlay was right up his alley. His writing, penmanship, and sweet spirit have not gone unnoticed. Although he doesn’t say much, his smile speaks volumes. Welcome to our tribe RJ!!!
Milani has shown great growth and works hard to learn every day. She has a fabulous attitude and wants to help others every chance she gets. She is kind and plays well with everyone. Her creativity never disappoints.
Elijah is cheerful, a good pax leader and works so hard at learning in class. He is a great mathematician and challenges others to solve problems as well as himself. He has made so much progress in his learning and his behavior with all school personnel and students. He makes Ms. Talbot's day when he chooses 3 different ways to say good morning.
Myah has really blossomed this year in the classroom always giving her very best when it is time to work. Myah consistently puts in extra effort to understand new concepts and asks insightful questions to clarify any doubts. Not only does Myah demonstrate a great work ethic, but she approaches each task with enthusiasm and positivity. Myah often motivates her peers with a 'can-do' attitude and is always ready to assist classmates when needed.
