Congratulations to these awesome 1st Grade PAX Students!
Bronxx has rocked his PAX behavior and rarely needed reminders about good choices! It’s been a great couple weeks of focus, kindness, and getting his job done!
Derek is ROCKING the new math module! He’s stated very focused, attentive, and has been a peer teacher for the new concept. Great job!

Last week, Ms. Talbots class read the beginning of “How Many Seeds in a Pumpkin. Then the students made estimates for each pumpkin. Then in groups they gutted the pumpkin and separated the pulp from the seeds. The next day they counted their seeds and one student estimated a pumpkin correctly. They compared their estimates and wondered why some pumpkins have more seeds than others. They finished reading the book to find out one way to find a pumpkin with more seeds. Finally they carved their pumpkins and drawn winners were able to take them home.

It's Game Day!
